CoSynth is a tone designer, not a loop blender. You forage a sustained tone out of a living source, blend four of them, then lock and export.
Slide to any moment in the infinite piece. A CoSynth source isn't a loop — it's a living, deterministic generative composition that never exactly repeats.
Freeze a single grain into a sustained tone. The river stops; one drop holds.
Set how much of the source loops: from a ~2 ms pitched buzz, through a sustained tone, up to a ~4 s evolving loop.
Place four frozen tones on the XY pad and morph between them. Steer with mouse, touch, arrow keys / WASD, or an Atari joystick — red button locks.
Save the RECIPE — a tiny, re-editable, shareable address that regenerates the exact sound — or bounce a WAV.
The patch is an address into a deterministic engine — kilobytes, perfectly reproducible, infinitely re-editable.
The sound is an address, not a sample.
